The project:
This website was developed with the outright odds industry in mind. A visitor can register himself with the site in order to place bets on the odds offered by the website. The member can then bet on either the outright winning team or the highest goal scorer of most major soccer leagues of a season (available as of now). To place actual bets, the member may choose from either of the two payment transaction methods available with the site - Paypal & E-Gold. In case of E-gold, the user needs to deposit amount into his outrightodds.com account to be used by the amount of subsequent bets that he places with the site. The users winnings adds up in the same account. The member can also at any time have a look at his own betting history, account statement, winnings & losses. Apart from the user section, there is an administrator area where the admin of the system can add/modify/delete teams, players and odds into the website. The admin can have a look at the details of the site collectively for all the members or individually, by winnings/losses or member requests with the ability to authorize or deny them. The technology platform for the development of the site is PHP with MySQL.
