Client Brief:
Mole Check MD was conceived as an online skin cancer website and diagnostic service. The site is intended to reduce obstacles to timely diagnosis and to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with skin cancer. The client asked us to develop a site, which could accept requests for diagnostic services from visitors by allowing them to submit their details and images.
Our Endeavour:
We have provided functionality to this website. We have enabled form to email and MySQL database submissions including a screening service that allows visitors to submit a photograph of their "mole" or skin lesion over the Internet to a certified dermatologist for evaluation. We enabled users to upload multiple images on this site. The email messages are MIME compliant messages bearing the look-and-feel of the site. The admin section of the site allows the administrator to see all new submissions, view previous submissions, delete and archive requests and also reply to requests along with full-fledged reports including images. The evaluation includes a diagnosis and a recommendation for treatment.
Acknowledgement:
We wanted to be able to accept images on our website - not only did they do this but thought of everything we hadn't ? developed the admin area complete with archive and search facility, response e-mail and more, made revisions swiftly and kept me up to date with progress ? all the while communication was superb. I'm delighted with what they have done and can't recommend them highly enough. |
