Client Brief:
This Bermuda based client is into Hedge fund administration for large corporate houses like banks and such other financial institutions. They had a website running when they commissioned us to design and develop the same from the scratch. They wanted the website design to be suitable to a financial services company that presents itself as solid, reputable and conservative yet very much using technology in its operations. They also wanted to have most of the areas of the website to be database driven so that the administrator had full control over the content. Additionally, we were asked to develop a client presentation using Flash based on an existing Power Point presentation. This Flash presentation was to be linked from the new website.

Our Endeavour:
Based on the initial client brief, we worked through a few possible design routes to finally arrive at the current one that has blue as the predominant colour in it. The design has a main image in it that consists of a collage of the screenshots of the proprietary software that they use for their core operations. This design has a small Flash bit embedded in the page emphasising the working principles of the company. Further we developed a client presentation using Flash that uses the design parameters of the website in terms of colour & design aesthetics. We developed an administrator module that makes use of a Content Management System (CMS) built into it for extensive modification of practically all the areas of the website. This includes the 'News' section, general page content allowing for text decoration, table creation, image insertion to name a few. We also integrated a third party FTP based news feed system to be displayed in the homepage. The technology used in the project is ASP.net using c# and SQL server as backend.
